The Municipality of Ancient Olympia, located in the Regional Unit of Elis in Greece, following a series of initiatives, officially established a twinning partnership with the Municipality of Ciro Marina in Italy, within the framework of the European Program “OLYMPICEU: The European Values Olympiad” (Acronym: OLYMPICEU, Project No.101212757, TOPI C CERV-2024-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT, CALL CERV-2024-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT submitted for CERV-2024 CITIZENS TO WNTT /19 Sep 2024), managed by the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of Athens and financed by the European Union.
