The Junior High School of Nea Kydonia in Chania was one of the Greek schools that collaborated with the “Diazoma” Association during the 2022–2023 school year and participated in the “Adoption of Ancient Theatres” Action in Italy. The school “adopted” the Ancient Theatre of Larissa A (the large theatre), the Ancient Theatre of Larissa B (the small theatre), as well as the ancient theatres of Taormina and Syracuse in Sicily, which were visited by students of the 2nd and 3rd grades of Gymnasium (lower secondary school).
