"The FIDAPA BPW Italy is an independent public opinion movement. It is non-profit organization that pursues its objectives without distinction of nationality, language, religion or political affiliation. The Federation aims to promote, coordinate, and support the initiatives of women working in the fields of Arts, Professions and Business - either independently or in cooperation with other organizations, associations and institutions. To achieve these goals, the Federation sets out the following objectives:
a) to strengthen the skills and preparedness of its members by guiding them toward social and cultural activities that contribute to the improvement of women's lives, including professional lives.
b) to represent women working in the Arts, Professions and Business in national, European and international organisations and institutions
(b) to encourage women to remain actively engaged and consciously involved in social, administrative and political life, working to eliminate the barriers that still persist
(d) to combat all forms of discrimination against women, both within the family and in the workplace, in full compliance with existing equal opportunity legislation
(e) to promote friendly relations, mutual understanding, and fruitful cooperation among people around the world.
The local Chapters, in line with national and international directives, ensure the broadest possible participation of their members in the initiatives and tailor their activities to the principles of BPW International.
