The Association Diazoma collaborated with the organization "Festival della Filosofia in Magna Grecia" based in Elaia (Velia) in Southern Italy, for two consecutive years, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. During this partnership, students from Italian classical lyceums who visiting Greece for their traditional "philosophical walks", were guided by Greek students at the theatre of Dionysus Eleftheraeus on the southern slope of the Acropolis, as well as at the archaeological site of Ancient Messina. Furthermore,Diazoma carries out a wide range of educational activities, many of which are showcased on "Generation D", a digital platform created by the Association.This platform was designed to host and promote student projects stemming from educational activities and programmes that take place in schools, using ancient theatres, conservatories and stadiums as a medium for engaging the educational community with cultural heritage. Generation D aims to foster interaction between schools, encourage their connections with local communities and productive sectors commited to cultural preservation, and inspire the development of collaborative initiatives with student communities abroad, as well as with universities and Institutions focusin on Hellenism around the world.
