Cultural Association "Filonide"

The Filonide Association is a non-profit cultural association based in Taranto, focused on promoting the history, Spartan heritage and cultural identity of the region through restorations, events and tourism activities. The association has also published a book on the history of the restoration of the Palazzo de Beaumont Bonelli and designed the monumental ceramic panel depicting ‘The Foundations of Spartan Taranto’, which was created in 2005 on the balustrade of the Borgo Antico.
