The Crotonian Archaeological Group, a regional unit of the Italian National Association of Archaeological Groups, based in Rome, is dedicated to the identification, documentation, protection and enhancement of the cultural and environmental heritage of the province of Croton. This includes archaeological, architectural, environmental, artistic, historical, archaeological, archival, library, ethno-ethno-anthropological and geological heritage elements. The Crotonian Archaeological Group works voluntarily in collaboration with the competent authorities and carries out its activities in full compliance with the Italian legal framework governing the sector.
