The Archaeological Park of Paestum is an autonomous entity under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and has been a UNESCO World Heritage cultural site since 1998. It manages the archaeological site and museum of Poseidonia (Paestum), the Museum of Hera on the Sele River, the premises of the former Cirio industry, the ancient walls and other related cultural sites. Its mission is to preserve, enhance and exploit cultural heritage, as well as to support research in the fields of archaeology, art history and architecture, in collaboration with Italian and international organizations.
