During the 2018–2019 school year, the 3rd General Lyceum of Evosmos in Thessaloniki implemented an environmental project entitled "Mediterranean Monuments after Geological Upheavals – The Example of Pompeii", involving 35 students. As part of the project, the school collaborated for a second consecutive year with the "Diazoma" Association and also participated in the educational programme "Adoption of Ancient Theatres: Students Guide Students through Ancient Theatres".The Lyceum adopted the Ancient Theatre and Odeon of Pompeii, breaking new ground as the first Greek school to implement the Action beyond Greece's borders. As part of the Action, 65 students took part in an educational excursion to Pompeii, where they guided their fellow students around the Large and Small Theatres and the wider archaeological site.
