The Unione Grecia Salentina is an association of twelve towns located on the Salento Peninsula in southern Italy, within the province of Lecce, in the region of Apulia. The region is known for its historical Greek heritage and the Griko language, which is still spoken in some communities. Their goal is to promote Griko language and culture by organizing educational and cultural activities, as well as forming partnerships with cultural institutions and organizations. The association consists of the municipalities of the following towns: Calimera, Carpignano Salentino, Castrignano de'Greci, Corigliano d'Otranto, Cutrofiano, Martano, Martignano, Melpignano, Sogliano Cavour, Salento, Sternatia, Zollino.
